The Cup

In 2023 the 9th Amateur Soccer World Cup arrives, taking place in the wonderful and unique city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The tournament in its previous editions was held in Buenos Aires in 2012, in Miami in 2014 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022.


With intercontinental representation, the tournament hosted teams from countries such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands, Norway, Catalonia, the Republic of Congo, Cape Verde, Angola, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Lebanon, Ecuador, Mexico, the United States and South Korea, among others. In this way, the Amateur Soccer World Cup is a unique and special meeting date for all lovers of amateur soccer and passionate about this sport.

 

The Tournament

How to take part

In order to participate in the Amateur Soccer World Cup, it is an initial condition to reserve a place in the selected category in which you participate. This reservation is specified with the payment of the value of at least one player per team.

The gold package
7 nights at the Wyndham Barra hotel (ex Sheraton Barra), 4-star superior, facing the sea, with Brazilian buffet breakfast included.

Registration and all tournament expenses.

1,100 Dollars per player. (Does not include airfare)

How do I secure the place?

The quota of each team is blocked by paying the first registration fee of the team, of USD 2,000 in soccer 11 and USD 1,400 in soccer 7 The total amount for the participation of all the players of each team must be canceled in as many payments Equal monthly payments by virtue of the months available from the date of registration. Rules

REGULATION AND STRUCTURE OF THE TOURNAMENTS.

The ninth amateur soccer world cup, to be held in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from November 24 to December 1, 2023, will be governed by the following regulations.

 

GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS

The Amateur World Cup is an international tournament, whose objective is to promote the values ​​of Fair Play, fellowship and friendship between amateur athletes from different countries who feel the passion for soccer.

For this reason, the spirit of the regulations is oriented towards compliance with the aforementioned precepts, taking care from the organization that, without losing the seriousness and importance of a great tournament, prioritizing a good relationship and Fair Play, to ensure that the tournament result in a real football party.

 

Soccer 11

The championship of 11 will be governed by the rules of the F.I.F.A. competitions, with the following exceptions:

 

Game times

The matches will be played in 2 periods of 30 minutes each.

 

Changes

The changes will be unlimited, being able to re-enter the players who had previously left the field.

 

Soccer 7

The tournament will take place with the same structure as the football 11 except for the following:

Off Side: played without Off Side rule

Game times: 2 times of 25 minutes

 

Changes

Unlimited.

Pass to goalkeeper rule:

Same as soccer 11

Sweep: you cannot defend by sweeping, if the defender goes to the ground, at risk to the opponent who is carrying the ball, a sweep will be charged.

 

Archer rules

The goalkeeper cannot pass the midfield ball through the air or over pike, unless the ball is touched by a player before crossing into the opposite field. All arc exits are by hand.

 

Seers

The observers of the matches are disciplinary assistants to the judges, being able to suggest to the referees the taking of disciplinary measures, NOT regulatory, in case of observing serious sports conduct that had not been perceived by the referee shortlist.

 

Game form

Each category will be played in 2 groups of 4 teams each, playing all contracted within the group. (FIFA world system) the first 2 classified of each group will go to the knockout phase.

Those who do not qualify will play a fourth game, for a trophy, against an unclassified rival in the other zone.

 

Classification system

1) By points

2) By goal difference

3) For the greatest number of goals scored

4) By the result of the match between the teams

5) By Fair Play table (fewer Red and Yellow cards)

As it is an international tournament, more than 2 teams from the same country will not be able to participate in the same area.

 

Disciplinary regulation

Accumulation of cards: Any player who receives 3 yellow cards in the qualifying phase is suspended for one match, the cards are cleared only for the final.

Expulsion for direct red: it implies the automatic suspension for a match, unless the court considers that a greater sanction may correspond.

Expulsion for double yellow: does not carry automatic suspension, but may have 1 suspension date according to the referee's report.

 

Outfit

The official clothing for F.I.F.A. competitions will be strictly respected.

 

Award

The champion, runner-up and third of each tournament will receive allusive trophies.

The players of the champion and runner-up will receive allusive medals.

 

Suspension of matches due to force majeure

The organization will make the greatest possible efforts so that all the matches are played at the scheduled time, but as it is an event held outdoors, the organization may, in cases of force majeure due to inclement weather, modify at its discretion, times and days of a match, and in extreme cases, reorganize the form of play of the tournament, even suspending or canceling the performance of a match.

 

Of the comunication

The fixture, results and standings, as well as any communication of interest, will be informed to the teams through the Cup App, as well as its website.

Each team will designate a captain or delegate to be in contact with the organizing committee.

 

Organizing committee

The organizing committee, and disciplinary court, will be composed of:

Any situation not provided for in these regulations will be defined by the organizing committee, following the rules of equity and justice, its decisions are final.

The participation of the players in the tournament implies the knowledge and acceptance of these regulations.
